I work on the conveyancing panels for a number of lenders and I am registered with Lender Exchange and the LMS mortgage panel management website.

I am on the panels for NatWest, RBS, HSBC, Nationwide, Santander, Barclays Bank (the Woolwich) and the Help to Buy Scheme.

Lloyds Bank (which includes Halifax) does not accept sole practitioner solicitors on its panel at present, since the banking crash in 2008/9.

Please check that I am on the panel for your proposed lender, and if so, I will be happy to quote for carrying out your conveyancing.

Leases

I handle both freehold and leasehold properties and there is no extra charge for dealing with leases for ordinary terraced, semi-detached and detached properties.

If your intended purchase property is a flat, there will be additional fees for dealing with long leases and the necessary enquiries, both with the Seller and the Management Company.
